Psychologists

Our licensed psychologists provide assessment, treatment and behavior management assistance to residents in skilled nursing centers, retirement facilities and other residential settings. The professionals who fill this role must meet our standards of education, experience and credentials:
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from a regionally accredited program with two years of supervised clinical training, one of which is post-doctoral
  • Prior experience providing testing, assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, behavior management, and staff consultation and liaison.
  • Experience with the geriatric population, and prior work with interdisciplinary teams is preferred.
  • Licensure in your state, and will meet qualifications for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party insurance payers.

Clinical Social Workers

Our licensed clinical social workers provide initial assessment and ongoing individual, family and group psychotherapy, as well as staff inservices and workshops. These candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration as employees of our group:
  • A master’s degree in social work, psychology or a related field and licensure in your state as a clinical social worker (or such designation as used in your state).
  • Prior experience providing assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, behavior management, and staff consultation and liaison.
  • Experience with the geriatric population, and prior work with interdisciplinary teams is preferred.
  • Meet the qualifications for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party insurance payers.

Psychiatrists

We have full and part-time positions for physicians with a specialty in psychiatry.
Applicants will have previous experience with the geriatric population, and will be familiar with state and federal regulations affecting psychotropic medication usage within the nursing home setting.

We require verification of licensure as an M.D. or D.O. in your state, with a specialty in psychiatry, and that you meet qualifications for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party insurance payers.

Our psychiatrists are referred patients for medication consultations, and do follow-up med management independently, or through collaboration with the patient’s primary care physician. We process the referrals in our home office, and after completing the necessary paperwork regarding funding, consents, and primary care physician orders, our Referral Coordinator sends you the authorization to see the patient.

Nurse Practitioners ("NP")
and Clinical Nurse Specialists ("CNS")

NP’s and CNS’s are ideally suited to working in the long term care environment. With the growing need for medication management with the nursing home population, our clinical services have rapidly expanded to meet this need, bringing the NP’s and CNS’s expertise to this setting right alongside our psychiatrists.

The NP or CNS candidate must:
  • Be a registered professional nurse, currently licensed in your state.
  • Satisfy the applicable requirements for qualification of NP’s or CNS’s in your state.
  • Meet at least one of the following:
Be currently certified as a psychiatric mental health NP or CNS by the ANCC (a subsidiary of the ANA).
Have satisfactorily completed a formal program of at least 1 year that prepares RN’s to perform an expanded role in the delivery of primary care, that awards a degree, diploma or certification of the program.

Like our psychiatrists, our NP’s and CNS’s are referred patients for medication consultations, and do follow-up med management independently, or through collaboration with the patient’s primary care physician. These services are performed in collaboration with a M.D. or D.O. We process the referrals in our home office, and after completing the necessary paperwork regarding funding, consents, and primary care physician orders, our Referral Coordinator sends you the authorization to see the patient.
