Advancing Clinical Excellence (ACE) Initiative Leads to Grand Prize for Workplace Excellence

Vericare won the Grand Prize and was named overall winner of the prestigious Workplace Excellence Awards, recognizing innovative and exceptional human resources practices. Sponsored by the San Diego Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Vericare's win was the first time in the 11-year history of the awards that a small company took the Grand Prize and won by unanimous vote.

Vericare's success is based in a large part on our Advancing Clinical Excellence (ACE) Initiative, which quickly and effectively integrates new practitioners in the clinical setting, providing them with the flexibility, autonomy, and opportunity to successfully practice clinical excellence and patient- focused care with integrity. The effectiveness and positive impact of the ACE project can be attributed to the more than 150 clinicians, managers and employees, nationwide, who participated in the initiatives.
