How do Vericare professionals interact with newly referred patients and facility staff?
Before interacting with newly referred patients, Vericare clinicians first conduct a thorough in-service training session organized by Vericare for all facility staff. Vericare’s Clinician will cover:
- The patient referral process
- Conduct an assessment of the referred patient to determine behavioral diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan
- Utilize treatment methods including individual psychotherapy, psychotropic medication management, behavior management
- Perform rehabilitation support and behavioral services
- Develop a routine weekly visit schedule which facilitates consistent patient interface and opportunities for interaction with staff
- Thoroughly document clinical interactions which are placed in patient’s chart on site
