Symed Behavioral Medicine, founded nearly 10 years ago by Radwan Khuri, M.D., is Vericare's newest affiliate. The company's clinical staff, including licensed psychologists, licensed clinical social workers and board-certified nurse practitioners; provide compassionate behavioral healthcare and psychotherapy to elderly residents in approximately 200 long-term care facilities in Tennessee, North Carolina and California. Dr. Khuri will serve as Vericare's Chief Medical Officer, involved in the psychiatric program, as well as providing leadership and consultation to nurse practitioners and physicians.
