New Jersey based Rossi Group was founded in 1978 by Bart Rossi, Ph.D., a Diplomat in Clinical Psychology, who continues to oversee the growth and development of the organization. Today the Rossi Group is the leading behavioral health services organization in New Jersey. The Group’s licensed behavioral health professionals deliver carefully developed assessments and counseling to residents in nearly 150 skilled nursing facilities throughout the state.

The Rossi Group performs as a full service “turn-key” mental health and wellness program relying on well- trained professionals and clinicians to deliver behavioral interventions, rehabilitation, geriatric counseling and family support. Proprietary assessment and counseling forms are custom designed to provide proper documentation to each facility

In-Service presentations are completed by all clinicians and professionals on the subjects listed below, leading to core competency and expertise in the emerging growth area of geropsychology and geropsychiatry. Dr. Rossi, an experienced presenter, has recorded the following in-service presentations on DVD and VHS for training at each facility:

• Alzheimer’s Disease Process
• Depression
• Dealing with Difficult Family Members
• Challenging and Problematic Residents

These in-service presentations, moderated by a clinical supervisor, are presented at each facility. Competency (capacity) evaluations are completed by licensed psychologists, including Dr. Rossi.

All aspects of the Rossi Group’s behavioral healthcare services delivery are monitored carefully by the Rossi Group’s own internal controls and programming to ensure HIPAA compliance and total compliance with all Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Our services have proven to be critical with regard to each facility’s yearly state inspections. A new, sophisticated billing system allows for immediate computer records for each session completed. This computer system makes it possible for every provider to minimize paper flow and improve tracking. Our billing system also enables us to record all data prior to billing to ensure quality control. All records are kept and maintained properly, providing transparency to our skilled nursing facility clients and peace of mind to our elderly patients’ loved ones.
