Meet Our Management Team

CEO David Flaugh presides over the company’s licensed nationwide healthcare operations. Under David’s leadership, Vericare continues to leverage its extensive operational platform and well-developed clinical training systems to continue to grow its business. He has more than 40 years experience in healthcare services and is a former Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Laboratory Corporation of America and its predecessor company, National Health Laboratories. He is also a former Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of National Health Laboratories.

Dennis Walsh oversees a team who works closely with Vericare’s established network of 400 licensed clinicians serving patients at 1,000 skilled nursing facilities across the U.S. Dennis’ leadership skills are vital in positioning the company for future growth by developing new programs at existing facilities, forming partnership agreements with new facilities and opening up new markets for licensure. Prior to joining Vericare, Dennis was a healthcare executive, entrepreneur and founding partner of Apria Healthcare and an executive team member at US LABS now Laboratory Coporation of America ( LabCorp).

Dr. Haffey oversees clinical care delivered by Vericare’s 400 licensed clinicians who serve patients at 1,000 skilled nursing facilities across America. Bill is credited with developing and implementing a quality control system that promotes and tracks optimal clinical performance through patient treatment protocols. He has more than 30 years experience, serving as director and founder of clinical care at prestigious healthcare organizations throughout the United States, including Sharp HealthCare, AllianceCare, Cogent Care and Theratx. As Chief Clinical Officer, Bill draws upon his background as staff neurologist at Casa Colina Hospital for Rehabilitation in Pomona, CA and Executive Director at Sharp Healthcare Mesa Vista in San Diego. Dr. Haffey earned a B.A. in Philosophy at Cathedral College and completed post-graduate studies in ethics and theology at Gregorian University and Academia Alfonsia, Rome, Italy. Dr. Haffey earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at United States International University (now Alliant University) in San Diego.

Cy Talbot brings more than 30 years of business experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Vericare. In addition to managing financial operations, Cy has been instrumental in establishing a solid capital plan to fund future goals and positioning Vericare for expansion. Previously, Cy served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Asteres, Inc., a start-up company providing automated prescription pick up machines for retail pharmacies. He earlier was Chief Financial Officer for two publicly traded San Diego companies, Mad Catz Interactive, Inc., a world-wide innovator in interactive entertainment peripherals for console and PC game markets, and DJ Orthopedics, Inc., a leading provider of orthopedic devices and surgical reconstructive products.
